Dr. Dylan Blacquiere is a stroke neurologist at The Ottawa Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, the medical director of the Champlain Regional Stroke Network, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in Halifax in 2007, and trained as a neurology resident and stroke neurology fellow until 2014. Dr. Blacquiere is the incoming co-chair of the advisory board for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Stroke Best Practices Group, and is a member of the Board of the Canadian Stroke Consortium, as well as chair of the Policy and Advocacy Committee. His research and educational interests include quality improvement in stroke care, Telestroke and virtual stroke care, and palliative care in stroke.
